I’m not sure of any brilliant GOP mayors as counterpoints.
I do see:
- Drive up taxes until you force businesses and higher earners into the suburbs.
- With tax increases rigorously enforce fines, fees, and levies, claiming these go to schools and roads.
- As the tax base diminishes, ramp up public employment to create a revenue death spiral.
- Take a soft approach to crime, urban decay, fixing infrastructure, but back any shitty multibillion dollar bond issue for new team stadiums that create 150 shitty jobs in concessions.

yeah I agree. Sadly I live in one of the those(the main fucking one at that). You cant tell a person who voted blue that because they'll lose their shit and proceed to bombard you with a bunch of useless points that further derail from the conversation.

I’ve lived in five of the most fucked up cities. Thing is, Chicago and others used to have grand and effective city machines. New infrastructure, snow was plowed, criminals got fucked up.
