Great point. Probably why the latest Blade Runner had a virtual GF the buyer paid to build out over time, rather than a flesh and blood version. Besides, a grown humanoid would have rights and feminists - who already, and predictably, oppose sex robots - would burn the factories. Modern feminism is sex negative, anti-porn, anti-sex doll.
