Iran would be a major tech and oil hub. The country would be insanely wealthy and it would have retained its diaspora of talent. Religious fanatics ruin everything.

And yes I’m fully aware of what the American fundamentalist fucktards do to school curriculums, libraries, and culture.

Yeah but they do allow transwomen to transition and live fully as women. That probably explains why people like Cathy are pro-Iran, the media frames it as an evil theocracy but in some ways Islam is way more progressive than any Christian country.

I read about a few who quickly detransitioned because living as a woman there sucks.

Cathy had to travel 100's of miles to find a Muslim operation that would accept Cathy's upside down gender confused body. In Cathy's hood its body would have been transfigured, in ways unfit for life.

There’s got to be a better way. I understand the “Manosphere,” but some of its continuum is plain nuts. It’s a reaction to the excesses of modern feminism, that cognitive dissonance that champions female college graduation rates while opining about taking simpler jobs and pay gaps, the dual ideas of women taking accountability yet leeching off of family court favoritism and fattened divorce settlements.

Is there, though? If you trust them with autonomy, they abuse it.

Men wanted to be fair and gave women the vote. Then women outnumbered men as eligible voters and made both parties violate basic responsibility to be viable politically. Then they voted themselves benefits, and preferential admissions and hiring.

There is no half-measure, because then you're dealing with crazy you will just be in endless conflict until one side wins out. And women cannot sustainably manage society, so it has to be men.

They can't understand consequences beyond the present, they think disagreeing is a personal attack, they idolize the worst men and mock virtue, they waste money, refuse to communicate, and emotion always wins over rationality.

When men acquiesce or seek equality they hurt everyone, including the women they think they support.

Nowhere in my comment did I say women owe me anything, which makes this another strawman, you are just completely incapable of understanding the words you are reading.

The actual issue I'm pointing out is that women think they are owed good jobs they wouldn't be hired for otherwise and financial support for their bastard children.

Isn't that what you did first?

I said women weren't owed anything, and never claimed they owed me anything.

You are an idiot and so you acted like I said the exact opposite.

When I point that out, you can't defend what you said because you're an idiot, and you can't admit you didn't read it right because you are owned by your pride.

So you just threw a random insult at me with "you have issues".

In 100% of our conversations you take the delusional and immoral stance and degenerate into personal attacks when you can't think up a response.

So I ask again: how are you this low IQ?

Didn’t Iran just bomb every other country in the Middle East? Most Muslims on the planet probably don’t support Iran. 90% of Muslims in the world are Sunni and Iran is Shia. Most Iranians don’t support their government. I’m being serious when I’m saying that finding Muslims who unironically think the Iranian government is great would be difficult.

That wasn't what you said.

You said: "I’ve met Muslims IRL and I’ve literally never heard one of them express the view they thought the government of I r a n treats women right."

And I pointed out they have the same views on women in those countries.

You were wrong, you don't want to go over data showing that, so now you are trying to pretend we were talking about support for Iran in general, which is a completely different question. You either think everyone reading this is too stupid to notice your trick, or you are genuinely too stupid to keep track of what I responded to.

My point isn’t that other countries in the Middle East treat women well, my point is that between being a woman somewhere like the UAE vs Iran, I’m not saying the UAE is great, but that would be an obvious choice between the two which is better.

Not all Muslim countries are equally conservative. For example, Turkey is mostly Muslim but it’s more common to see Turkish women not wearing hijabs. Different people in different countries have different takes on Islam, it’s not all the same.

Or even just ask a Turk if they’d rather live in Iran or Germany. You can do this stupid thing where you argue "oh well Iran is Muslim and Turkey is Muslim so their values are closer to Iran than Germany" but if that was true, why do they all go to Germany?

AVeryBlackGuy triple-posted this 3 weeks ago, 4 minutes later, 15 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,422,827

Like, okay, even if Turkish people are sexist or homophobic or whatever, they can obviously tolerate the thought of being in a country that’s fully infested with all that stuff over being in Iran because their behavior proves it.

AVeryBlackGuy quadruple-posted this 3 weeks ago, 2 minutes later, 16 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,422,828

Of course there’s a difference between a Turkish person and a Turkic person, there are Turkic people in Iran but a Turkic person is not necessarily a Turkish person. Turkic is just broadly Eurasian culture. But nobody wants to immigrate to Iran for a better life regardless of religious background unless they’re fucking crazy.
