The n word comes from negro in Spanish, which means black in Spanish as in the literal color black. It doesn’t really make logical sense when you think about it to insult someone by calling them a color but just in a different language and spelled wrong. Like idk, in Chinese 英国/England is "yingguo" so it’s like if I walked up to a white guy and was like, you’re a yingger! Did you know you’re a yingger?

Does anybody even speak Spanish in Africa? I know some of them speak French. Spain had slaves but I feel like noir would make more sense. At least that’s somewhat related to Africa somehow.

So I googled it, there are 1.5 million Spanish speakers in Africa, and Africa has 1.5 billion people, so 0.1% of Africans speak Spanish.

Tbh the one thing that doesn’t really make sense to me about racism is that white racists are obviously way more cruel to black people than black people are to white people, yet somehow racist white people are way more emotionally broken and butthurt all the time. And I don’t really know why exactly.

I mean, it even comes out in things like suicide rates. It’s the craziest thing, black Americans are more likely to go to prison, on average they’re poorer, on average they’re more likely to receive worse medical care, black women are more likely to die during childbirth in the United States, yet for some bizarre reason, white people actually have a much higher suicide rate than black people.
