I’ve said before that all right wing populism is is it’s a reaction to the decline of the west and the rise of non western populations, but all right wing populists will do is accelerate the decline not slow it down or stop it or reverse it.
Trump is anti immigration, and he’s anti Muslim. What did he just create? Loads more brown Muslim immigrants.

The idea is that stupid people are like "I wanna be big and powerful so I’m going to make everyone else suffer so they can never compete with me." So they do a bunch of stuff like take away foreign aid so people will starve or start a bunch of wars in poor countries or whatever. But the issue is, people have fewer kids when they have better living conditions because they have better access to contraceptives (plus some more complicated reasons). So making the conditions worse in the "third world" in the short term will increase their population in the long term which doesn’t actually help us dominate them.

Right wing populists in current form are Russian-funded and typically consist of astroturf populists. Their goal is to break shit and enrich their coterie. There are no actual ideals, there’s no meaningful social program. It’s all outrage.
