Topic: I’ve been thinking: maybe it’s okay that Trump is a pedophile

Because I’ve been thinking, we shouldn’t be victims. It’s like that thing people say about Africa, Africa is poor because of colonialism. Except then other people say that no Africa is poor because they let them get to the point where they could be colonized in the first place and they don’t take responsibility for that. I’ve come to realize: white people are right. It really is black people’s fault Africa got colonized and it really is children’s fault that they got sex trafficked by billionaire pedophiles. Billionaires are just smarter, they have higher IQs so it’s okay when they rape children because they deserve to because there’s nothing we can do about it, so there’s no higher authority that can say that it’s bad.

Saturn ate his son.
"In Africa infants used to be sacrificed to Saturn, and quite openly, down to the proconsulate of Tiberius, who took the priests themselves and on the very trees of their temple, under whose shadow their crimes had been committed, hung them alive like votive offerings on crosses; and the soldiers of my own country are witnesses to it, who served that proconsul in that very task. Yes, and to this day that holy crime persists in secret." Apology 9.2-3

Heh yeah it's the classic psychopath excuse, sometimes they even frame it as them correcting people's naivety. They can not care about the people they hurt, but their ego still craves a positive spin on their place in the world.

Fun fact about the Roman emperor Tiberius: he also had an island. He had a villa called Villa Jovis on the island of Capri where he’s rumored to have thrown slaves off a cliff as entertainment.

It’s also crazy somebody was wealthy and powerful enough 2,000 years ago to build a house on top of a mountain on an island and have it built in a timely enough manner to go live there. You’d have to practically be a god compared to the average person to have that kind of wealth. Most people were probably just farmers back then without any type of technology.

There are even some villas for Roman emperors that had heated floors and they’d have slaves running around in tunnels starting fires. Caligula even had a house boat like an ancient yacht.

So much wasted man power throughout the ages, you'd think after splitting languages to prevent the completion of the tower to heaven, God just created decadence

…
I was just looking at Capri on google earth and I found another villa on capri called "villa Lysis" I clicked on it and the description is that it was built by an industrialist and poet called Jacques Fersen in 1905 as his self-chosen exile from France after a sex scandal involving Parisian schoolboys and nude tableaux vivants.
> Powerful people be like "he's a isolated example and in no way shows a pattern of abuse by powerful people"
Which is bullshit. The wealthy enjoy their Dionysian excesses. Kind of funny how a wealthy guy has all that means and no greater aim than to live out the sex, self-indulgence, and power fantasies of a horny teenager.
