Not filling up on breadsticks is one of the jokes but I'm not a fan of Texas toast, bread sticks, or similar to start. It's just carb loading before your plate of carbs gets there lol.

It's disgusting lol, the equivalent of McDonald's for Italian food. And the joke is that someone would go to a city with tons of great restaurants all over, and eat in the big chain restaurant in the most touristy part.
