how and why? I remembered a time where people used to say things like "go back to africa" as an insult but nowadays they're cool?

I suspect its the whole "something something economy" jargon. but could be wrong and be very stupid.

"Go back to Africa" was never an effective insult. It’s just something low IQ whites whose ancestors were too poor to own slaves say when they’re offended.
