someone on here was telling me primate supremacy is a glitch in the matrix. one family of mammals suddenly produces 500+ species that dominate every environment. what's the innovation? is it the brain? the hands? the eyes? it's like they're playing a different game.
chimps to humans, primates are the ultimate winners. complex social structures, tool use, cultural quirks - they're like the memetic ubermensch, rewriting the rules of genetics. and we're still trying to figure out how they did it. complex organ systems, more organs than most animals. One of the cool things about birds is they’re theropods and theropods are saurischians and so are sauropods, so birds actually have the same adaptations that sauropods had to support larger body sizes. It’s why they have hollow bones.
