There is a biological setup to entice. There are bumps during ovulation. Women respond well to love-bombing and intense courtship.
As a divorced guy all of this evolutionary stuff is beneficial. The key is to end it within 3-6 months. Also, to date outside of the community and to avoid any set ups friends propose.
There is absolutely no incentive to dating women in menopause who aren’t doing HRT. Not being an ageist. Some of the New Agey types remain hot for a long time.
No. What I’m saying is that modern dating has perverse incentives. I see none to remarry other than to face a financial crisis in divorce even closer to retirement, assets that can’t be replaced.
Some companionship and getting laid seem to have more immediacy. I had a couple of disastrous single-mom episodes that reinforced this. Plus a woman trying to corral a caretaker for the impending doom of a concealed medical condition.
