But seriously though, going into a high school and yelling at the top of your lungs about politics and shoving a camera in random student’s faces… dude was asking for it 110%.

Of course OP isn’t mad about a grown ass man who supports ICE who got out of his car when he saw teenage girls protesting and proceeded to start beating them.
> They killed kirk because they couldn't come up with one definition of woman they could all agree on. > > Now they support physically attacking people that say they support law and order.

Tbh I’m not sure the guy who shot Charlie Kirk was left wing.
I guess the thing about Charlie Kirk is his memory and legacy is "guy who supported Trump." That’s gonna fade fast. Not trying to be mean or anything, but he supported a president, that’s what he did with his life. Who was the hardest supporter of Bill Clinton on the radio back in the day? I was born after 9/11. I have no idea, I don’t care. Kids 20 years from now won’t know won’t care.

Now, while I won’t make fun of someone for getting murdered, this is a great time to explain why I’m not Protestant, why I have no desire to be Protestant, and why I will never be Protestant.
The Roman Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ and is two thousand years old. Protestants have funerals with pyrotechnics in football stadiums. Now I’m not saying I know which religion is the more real religion, but I am saying it’s a little bit obvious.

American Protestants get confused and think Catholics aren’t Christian because we always introduce ourselves as Catholics instead of just saying we’re Christian, but it’s just because we don’t want any confusion.

MAGA is an amoral movement. It’s filled with adulterers and sex offenders and guys like Bannon who were best buds with Epstein. It’s astroturf populism for the tech bros and other oligarchs with a dash of nativism and a lot of anachronistic economic policy. It’s not even good fascism, no aesthetic or movement or national renewal. It’s backed by an ideologically nutty rainbow coalition of gay Mexican Nazis, guys like Sneako (Haitian-Filipino), and the lovely but nutty Candace Owens. I’m pretty sure Goebbels lover Stephen Miller is a Jew.

Are you talking about the republican half or the democrat half? Because both sides have been saying both sides have been against free speech for a while. The thing is, they’re both right.

Eh, it was kinda trash before it got bought. Twitter was also trash before it got bought. I assume they’re more trash now, but I haven’t bothered checking. I just assume it switched from Chinese hands to Russian hands. Say what you want about the Chinese, at least they don’t push white supremacist propaganda. They push Han chauvinist propaganda, which is much more tolerable because at least they’re complaining about the British or whatever. Russia is like China’s pet Chimpanzee. China might be an authoritarian asshole, but they’re a human being. Russia is a pet chimpanzee that might tear their owner’s face off one day.

Xi Jinping is just like some old Chinese dude who wanders around Beijing or whatever. Vladimir Putin is like a caveman from the ice age worried about the survival of his tribe against the other tribes.

I think that’s what everybody is misunderstanding about the whole Eurasian situation. China has to be friendly to Russian, because once you feed your pet chimpanzee once, you can’t stop. It’s actually smart. If we fed Russia once we’d do the same thing. Which is why we should never feed Russia.

ha, I always hated it when some shithead would post a pic of some chick taking a shit
I hate that shit
anyway, the USA broadcasting authority is headed by a Heritage Foundation man, and the owners of the network CBS are willingly taking orders from them. They put the kibosh on this interview, which is youtube only.
"He was supposed to be here, but we were told in no uncertain terms by our network's lawyers, who called us directly, that we could not have him on the broadcast," Colbert said. "Then, then I was told in some uncertain terms that not only could I not have him on, I could not mention me not having him on. And because my network clearly doesn't want us to talk about this, let's talk about this." https://youtu.be/oiTJ7Pz_59A

In a lot of other democracies the idea that hate speech should be illegal isn’t a radical position, it’s just the law. There are counties in Europe for example where you can’t deny the holocaust. The reason why countries ban hate speech is because political ideologies that are based on hate are fundamentally anti democratic. In order to preserve democracy, a healthy democracy needs an immune system.

The whole idea that the good ideas will win out over the bad ideas when you have free and open debate is bunk. History has shown that it doesn’t work like that, the masses are emotional and can be manipulated and are willing to believe lies they want to hear. Yeah, the constitution says something about freedom of expression, but just because some white slavers wrote something a couple hundred years ago doesn’t mean they were correct. Freedom of speech and where the limits on it lie is something that can be debated reasonably. Even the American constitution itself doesn’t guarantee an absolute right to freedom of expression, there are some narrow exceptions.

Even if you’re right wing, you can agree with what I just said. Communism, if you’re right wing I take it you don’t like it. How did Russia become communist? Well Karl Marx wrote a book, and then Vladimir Lenin read that book. Then how did he inspire a revolution in Russia? While he was in exile, he wrote letters back to Russia. But if you’re conservative you will agree communism killed 100 million people, correct? So, how do we prevent that from happening? Censor ideas. Duh.

It’s actually kinda funny, the left in Canada was really unpopular because of Justin Trudeau and it was almost certain that the conservatives would win the election and the liberals would lose so the conservatives didn’t try very hard. Then right before the election, Trump started yapping about making Canada the 51st state and the polls flipped in Canada and Australia and the left won in both countries instead of the right.

The Canadians even started debating whether or not they should buy American F-35s because some Canadians thought it could be a security threat to use American technology.
And then they dropped their tariffs on Chinese EVs.

It’s also dumb because if Canada joined the United States, the republicans would never win a national election again. If you actually look at what conservatives in Canada believe, I’ll drop Poilievre’s Wikipedia page so you can look for yourself, the Canadian right is basically the same as the Democratic Party in the United States. He’s pro abortion, pro free healthcare, and pro gay marriage. But he lost, because they went further left than that. The entire Overton window in Canada is different.

I would hazard a guess that people of Canada would not be granted anything that would make them disruptive to the regime, and be treated more like an occupied territory.
