In the beginning, Ireland was Catholic and not a part of Britain.
Then the English showed up and were like, "Hey you’re British just like us aren’t you?" Then the Irish were like, no but you’re Catholic too so we’re not happy about this but we’re not going to say anything about this.
Then England had the audacity to stop being Catholic, because they didn’t like the Catholic Church. And the Irish also hated the Catholic Church because the Irish thought the Catholic Church just wasn’t Catholic enough. So then the British started kicking the Irish off their land and started starving the Irish to death and reduced their population from 8 million people to 4 million people. But then the Irish were like, “This isn’t cool we need to fight back." So the Irish wiped poop on the walls, killed a few thousand people, and they wiped poop on the walls.
And now basically, the Irish were the bad guys because even though the British tried taking over the entire world and enslaving Africans and killing the Native Americans and starving the Irish to death, because the Irish wiped poop on the walls.
And that’s why Northern Ireland is not a part of the Republic of Ireland because of the poop on the wall thing. But the Irish are not considered terrorists any longer because of 9/11, that made everybody forget about the explosions.
