Exactly. I used to enjoy a regular network show about a group of killers tied to various elites, and allies in law enforcement. Critics called it far-fetched and silly. After it had been canceled a year MeToo kicked off and Epstein discussion followed.
We have persistently Victorian notions of criminality. We are more accustomed to softly handled white collar financial crimes and like predations, not “Eye Wide Shut - with Teens.”

It’s interesting how Trump has all this stuff about brown immigrants but you can clearly see he’s trying to paint his entire face to look less white. I’d love to hear a psychologist talk about that.
