Topic: Manga rant, because apparently it’s still necessary:

Manga isn’t “anti-elite,” it’s anti-reality. It yells “freedom” while cheering trope bans, “law & order” while excusing plot crimes it likes, and “patriotism” while trashing editors, critics, teachers—basically any institution that says “pacing matters.”
It’s grievance cosplay. Mega-publishers posing as indie rebels, selling rage merch and culture-war dopamine while offering zero plans for character development, coherent endings, or literally anything that helps readers live better lives.
If your whole movement runs on power scaling arguments, nostalgia for arcs that never existed, and permanent outrage at imaginary enemies… congrats, that’s not a genre. That’s a scam with speed lines. ✨

No, it’s entertainment. Only dumb readers use it as life lessons.

It’s astroturf populism by elites who seek to displace other elites and existing institutions that don’t suit their feelings or preferences.

The idea that a billionaire is populist national savior could only be embraced by brain dead NPCs who are easy dupes, whether it’s prosperity gospel, or lizard people, or Q, or the terror of having Biden and Pelosi hold down your kid for a forced sex change.
