What's up assholes I wanna buy a netbook for about £200. Could spend more but I don't want to. I'm deciding between the Eee PC (good value for money) or the Sony Vaio (decent build quality). Is there anything else I should consider? I don't want a Dell because it has to last more than about 10 minutes before falling apart.

I just want something small for traveling. Plus I'm too much of a pussy to take my laptop through an airport after having rolled hundreds of joints on it, there's probably tons of hash crumbs and bits of bud under the keys.

Toshiba's build quality tends to be decent. Certainly not top-of-the-line, but you are asking for a $300 netbook; the build quality isn't going to be amazing, no matter what brand you end up picking. Sony would be a better choice, but - on their USA site, at least - they don't appear to have anything within your price range. If you manage to be careful, it really shouldn't be a problem. It's not going to break with "rough" daily usage, just don't set it precariously on the edge of a table.
You are aware that netbooks are about as un-future-proof (it's a word, shut up) as you can possibly get, right? I'm trying to be helpful, but I do have to warn you that it feels like a terrible waste of money. If you save up for a bit more, you can get something significantly better (particularly if you're willing to build it yourself). You can make a decent PC - even a decent, low-end gaming PC - for around $600 (£381), and you can use parts small enough to fit into a case the size of a shoebox. The monitor might be a problem, of course... still.

In the US the dogs only sniff for bombs, except certain destinations where trafficking is likely. I had to go through a complete security pat down and they even used wipes on my bag (which HAD had a ton of weed in it). They didn't detect shit cause they were looking for bombs.
