Have you ever noticed the only people who think British culture is the best culture are British people? Nobody else in the world is saying that British people don’t commit crime or that British people are super smart or super civilized, except British people. I’ve never heard anybody say they like British food except British people. I’ve never heard anybody say the British invented law except British people.
I mean, think of it this way, England was a part of the Roman Empire before the English governed themselves and had any of their own laws. The Egyptians are twice as old as the Romans. When the English got to Africa, how would the English have invented western law in Africa, when in ancient Egypt, women could sue men in court? Women in ancient Egypt already had more rights than women did in Europe during the age of European imperialism.

I just think it’s interesting how the British invented law in Africa 200 years ago when Africans had courts 4,000 years ago. It’s just weird to think about how the ancient Egyptians had trial by jury, 2,000 years before Ancient Rome was a thing, but the British think they invented law and civilized the Africans by imposing law on them. That’s kinda weird.

But right, the Egyptians aren’t black, they’re Arabs. Except, white people call Arabs the same slur just with the word sand in front of it. Black people didn’t built "the" pyramids, except the Nubians had dark skin and built twice as many pyramids as the Egyptians, and "the pyramids" actually weren’t built by slaves.

But oh no the black people in America come from Nigeria and Nigeria has nothing to do with North Africa. Only half of them are Muslim and before colonization they wrote Yoruba using Arabic script even though Yoruba is a tonal language. Surely the Sahara was an impenetrable boundary and sub Saharan Africa and Northern Africa have no common heritage even though Northern Africans only live in Northern Africa because they migrated there from sub Saharan Africa.

…wouldn’t it be crazy if for thousands of years, Europeans didn’t consider Africans to be inferior, and peacefully traded with Africans, and European occupation of the African continent only lasted from the late 1800s to the late 1900s, and Africa never had a higher population than Europe until the 1990s. Has anybody ever thought about what if European dominance isn’t natural and actually in the long run it could end up being a tiny blip that barely registers?
