Topic: Women who claim they want a serious relationship won’t share.

Anonymous A started this discussion 4 weeks ago #132,361

Having one divorce and the loss of another spouse, I think it’s responsible and considerate to share books. If someone wants commitment there should be a financial, medical, and family health discussion. Too many women view this as unromantic. But why would I want to be saddled with her school debt, pending MS, family history of stroke or cancer or Alzheimer’s? What if she’s okay but her family drains my finances? And she’s entitled to the same information.

It’s funny how women who want “commitment” don’t want to have the discussion and would rather blindside you later.

If you want to have kids, you need to ask about medical history. You don’t want to create life doomed to die from cancer because somebody wouldn’t cough up their medical records.

Another point: You can pull a lot about her from public records. I had a woman who wanted to move in who had a $200,000 IRS tax lien against her. Hard fucking pass.

At that point, the best course of action is she needs to move to a foreign country.

Exactly. One wife and I did this down to DNA testing and amnio. MR and a ton of conditions are 100% preventable.

Also mental disorders and a family history of that is good. Sometimes people have a thing going on in their family history, they seem normal, then one day they just change out of nowhere.

Mine had a pile of minor collections that haunted us for years. I think we paid $7,000 or so and the rest rolled off the record after the time window to collect expired. I guess I got off easy honestly.

That would suck though. Unpaid bills here and there add up and mess with your credit score.
