remember when every week us clonetards would create 15 to 20 new boards for everyone to shit up?
well, clearly there has been some stagnation in the BBScene since then. i think part of the reason is that there is no good source of reliable, non-backdoored, updated board software.
tinyBBS is a fantastic piece of software and i would love to be able to use a more robust version of it... i think the greater internet community would benefit from an updated release of tinyBBS... i really do.
i don't want to use one of the other options... tinyBBS is what i want.
i realize that the fucktarding of times past has jaded certain people to the idea of.. caring... but please would you consider releasing what you have done so far, with no warranty and no promises of continued development?

There's mine, MicroBBS, which is based off of Kawaii's ATBBS (chosen because I don't know shit about the licensing), and MiniBBS, which is running over of GHOUL.
MiniBBS's site isn't really doing anything yet, it just holds the text "There is no hope left for humanity.". (http://minibbs.org/ ) and the MicroBBS SourceForge page which doesn't have any releases. (http://sourceforge.net/p/microbbs/ ) I've started throwing some of the smaller changes into TinyBBS, as per request of grey and a few others.
So if you want your backdoored script, you can pick that up here, http://authorizedclone.com/release/ and if you want the more structurally sound script, you can wait for Dalloway to open the site, and if you want the OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK THIS IS SO BROKEN script, you can wait for the TinyBBS version which should be done in a matter of hours.

i don't talk to the people doing miniBBS (or even know who they are.. i thought it was eelsy) so i have no idea what's going on there except that i hear the Ghoul version gets some new features every now and then.
i still think that tinyBBS could be the standard for the scene if only there was a release from this year... r04r is srsly godtier... i just wish that sheCARED.
