Donald Trump accused the president of South Africa of genocide against white people in the Oval Office.

Now South Africa has invited Russia, China, and Iran to do naval exercises near Cape Town.

Do you think as Africa develops, they will align militarily and economically with the United States or with China?

Europe used to have more people than Africa, so historically Europe dominated Africa, but that changed the 1990s.

(Under section 3 the source has a graph that compares the relative population of continents since 1950 and also their projections up to the year 2100 - look at Africa vs Europe and North America.)

Would be crazy if the future of the world 70 years from now is dependent on one meeting gone wrong. But also not impossible looking at the numbers here.

Is it bad for the White Africans to be removed from Subsaharan Africa?

@previous (B)
The number of White Africans that left was actually pretty small. There are problems with wealth distribution, even after apartheid ended, the White minority kept the majority of the land. But overall, the government is mostly controlled by the Black majority, so which direction the country moves in won’t really be determined by how the White minority feels. South Africa is also the richest African country, which ironically means they have some of the lowest birth rates, which makes it basically inevitable that South Africa will eventually be surpassed economically by other African countries that are growing faster. To be honest, White South Africans don’t really matter that much in the grand scheme of things beyond Trump caring about them.

…which is why this is such a stupid situation.

Africa will be a battlefield

If you factor in the declining birth rates in Europe (Europe will shrink significantly), the very lowest estimates for Nigeria’s population place it at being roughly equal in population to the entire European continent in 2100. In the long run, Nigeria probably matters a lot more than South Africa. And Nigeria doesn’t really have any significant non-Black ethnic minorities, combined they would be less than 1%.

Which is funny because when Nigeria was colonized, they had a smaller population than the UK (Nigeria was more than one country but if it was a country, it would have had fewer people). But for some reason, people don’t think that if Nigeria had the same number of people as all European countries combined that things might go differently there.

africa will be as it always was, and always will be: a plantation for humans to harvest automatons.
