While he was photographing a car park near the former TNK-BP offices, a wormhole opened and a Honda Pilot flew out at 10 MPH. The shock of the wormhole opening, combined with Father Dave not having a gun to defend himself, resulted in his immediate death.

Unfortunately yes, I think he's likely dead. It could be that he offended someone in the Russian government and had a nerve agent slipped into his drink or was pushed from a balcony, or it could be he was drafted into the Ukraine war and was killed in action. Or it could be that he was killed for not revealing the answer to his lateral thinking problem. We will probably never know the exact reason. RIP in peace, Dave...

I miss that story. It was epic. Not sure why it was deleted. I ended up learning a lot about a closed Soviet city that even today for nickel, copper, and palladium.
