In the DRC, three Americans got sentenced to death for a failed coup attempt. Later, they had their death sentences commuted to life imprisonment in the United States.
The point is, in other countries, if you try something like this, you’ll get the death penalty for it. I’m not saying that’s how it should be, I’m just saying, it’s privileged as fuck to be living in a country where you even get to complain about this.
