This isn’t even a joke. Some countries in Africa are authoritarian states that are anti western, some countries in Africa are democracies that are pro western, nobody has any clue which is which so people say exactly the same things about democratic African countries as authoritarian African countries. People literally have no clue.

People literally think, "oh I heard white people get treated badly in South Africa, that country must be horrible for human rights" and then they think "oh well Rwanda beheaded people in the DRC so I feel bad for the DRC."

It’s kinda funny when Germany, Italy, the UK, Japan, and South Korea all went to South Africa for the G20 summit but Trump didn’t. The rest of the world considers South Africa to be a democracy.
