Surely if the French and the British wanted resources from Africa, they could have done what China did and arrived on the shores of Africa, and traded with Africans, gave Africans something in exchange for what they wanted. But no, instead they robbed the place blind, murdered, enslaved, and raped a bunch of people, cut people’s hands off for not working for them, overthrew traditional African monarchies, tried to replace African religions, enforced racial segregation inside Africa, the place where black people literally naturally come from, and built nuclear weapons to try and stop Africans from rising up and creating democracies. Then the white people had the audacity to ask why Africa is the poorest continent and maybe black people are biologically inferior somehow, even though they have more genetic diversity than the rest of the world combined so the explanation for a common poverty across all the different types of black people can’t be common genetics that don’t exist.

Then on top of that, white people have the audacity to blame black people for slavery, saying, "black people sold our own people." Without actually looking into the history of pre-colonial Africa and seeing that in Africa, before Europeans arrived, there were multiple governments with different languages and different cultures, and some of those countries were enemies with each other, so the reason why Africans were selling slaves to Europeans is because those slaves we’re actually prisoners of war. But when the Koreans bring up the fact that the Japanese sold Korean women into sexual slavery, nobody is like, "Hey you sold your own people, it was Asians selling Asians."

Then, white people also have the audacity to ask why European cities are so much nicer than African cities and why Africans didn’t build anything, even though some of the world’s oldest civilizations and buildings are in Africa, but never mind that, if you actually look into the history, white people literally burned down cities in Africa. But then they repeat stuff like, "Oh did you know those stupid Africans never built a two story building? What idiots!" Then you look into Hausa architecture and realize traditional Hausa homes in Nigeria (where black Americans come from), were primarily two stories tall.

Or say that we can’t teach African history to Americans because Africans didn’t have writing, even though some of the oldest writing systems are from Africa, and sub Saharan Africans actually did have writing, you can google it. In Nigeria they had Nsibidi and also wrote in Arabic script, and you can google who their monarchs were going back like 800 years. But ohhhh "Europeans were more advanced" - but they were a bunch of monarchies with writing and iron. Africa was a bunch of monarchies with writing and iron, but Europeans had guns the Chinese invented, and that was the technological difference.
So how come the Chinese didn’t colonize Africa if Europeans were the most civilized least barbaric culture? That seems pretty weird.

Or people will be like "white people invented civilization colonialism was good" but then you google it and find out, the Nok culture in Nigeria originated around 1500 BC. So they’ve only been civilized for 3,500 years.
