Iran is schrodinger's authoritarian regime. Every so often there’s a big nation wide protest or a big drought or a big exchange of missiles or a big something and it’s like they’re about to collapse, then nothing happens. The most stable unstable country.

I mean, don’t get me wrong, I hope it changes, you hope it changes, we all hope it changes, but we know if we start checking the news on Iran we’re gonna get bored fast just like last time… and the time before that… and the time before that.
