Has anybody else ever come across mainland Chinese porn? I’m talking about the straight stuff now. There’s like an entire genre where it’s just Chinese women punching Chinese men in the face over and over again, and they’re wearing clothes, but he’s not. It’s interesting.

It’s weird because it feels highly progressive, almost feminist in a way to see a girlboss punch a naked guy in the face repeatedly, but it also feels wrong somehow at the same time. Which makes it interesting to ponder.

It’s spiritually motivating somehow. It makes you wanna go out and do stuff. It’s not clear what exactly, but just like those Chinese women were socking that naked guy strapped to a chair in the face, you too can go out into the world and repeatedly sock your enemies who stand in your way in the face while you have them tired down to a chair in a pornographic yet unarousing display of dominance.

Now that I really think about it, maybe that wasn’t porn, maybe that was an art project. I’ve seen Canadian women do weirder things and call it art unironically.
