Topic: Something I never understood about the celebrity cell phone leaks.

Actually, two things:

1) How did they target and dump the contents of so many iPhones? We’re told iCloud is secure.

2) Why would women store their nude photos on phones? Why are they taking them? Why did they take closeups of their pussies and buttholes, of themselves getting fucked, and their faces battered with cum? Made no sense.

Nothing is secure.

There was some kind of failure to do with the password encryption if I recall but I may have made that up

And they probably had them on there because phone automatically backed them up and they didn't think that they would really need to specifically delete them from the phone because: "we're told iCloud is secure"

Now images delete from iCloud as well. Though I’m sure some other level is saved so Apple can train AI models.

When you delete a file on your computer it just deletes the reference, it doesn’t actually set all the bits to zero.

The way to get around this is to encrypt your storage so when you delete a file, the data left over isn’t readable.

Also if you ever encrypt a zip file, the file names aren’t encrypted.

The fappening? I think it was caused by malware stealing credentials. Why not take sexy photos? Their bodies are at their peak of attractiveness.

This is why I have a banking phone. I only use it for banking. Nothing else. It reduces the chances of malware getting into the phone.

By the way, if you are wondering how zero click attacks work, there is a YouTuber who explains how Apple gave a security researcher $100K for finding a new flaw which could be discovered and used for remote code execution. I'll try and find the video tomorrow.

Pics were a mixed bag. Slutty Jennifer Lawrence was fun. Olivia Wilde and Aubrey Plaza were as expected. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is a great actress but a little matronly to be fappable.
