This reminds me of the performative Clinton air strikes of the 1990s to look tough and achieve nothing. Clinton had Bin Laden in his sights but he and Perry were pussies and worried about some really minor collateral damage. Better to have 9/11, right Slick Willy?

Maybe isis will stop kidnapping Christians in a country of 200 million people because they saw the United States can send a couple million dollar missile into a field.

So, this is crazy. Half the people are cheering yay we killed isis, half the people are like, woah Trump’s a racist and he wants oil… is it crazy if I’m genuinely not sure if this strike actually killed anybody? I see the picture of the strike and it just doesn’t make sense how a missile would cause that little damage.

Like, it caved in the roof of a room that looks like it’s maybe 20 foot by 20 foot. How do we know whoever was supposed to be in that room didn’t get up and go to the bathroom or something? Are we supposed to just blindly accept that yes there was somebody in that room, yes they were the intended target. I find this really difficult to believe somehow.
