Meme of some sort with Rittenhouse as a kid like the one in Christmas Story and he is asking for an AR type rifle like Ralpie asks for a bb gun. I thought about it when watching Ralpie’s daydream about shooting the Black Bart gang, many of whom are Black, btw, which is funny in its own right.

Ngl, it took me a couple google searches to realize you weren’t talking about Ralf and Bart from the Simpsons. If I’m being honest, I don’t really get it. Black Bart in a Christmas story is a robber named after a guy known as Black Bart who was an English born American outlaw / poet in the 1870s. But I’m not really sure how that translates to shooting protestors exactly. Like what’s the joke exactly?

I’m not a MAGA guy but was so disgusted by the lawless chaos in 2020 that I applauded Rittenhouse. What is the statistical probability of shooting three people in a randomized street setting and all three are convicted felons?

To be honest, I find fun culture to be dumb. There aren’t shootings in China or Japan, because guns are just illegal. I could care less about whether guns are justified or unjustified, in my opinion, the second amendment was a mistake the founding fathers made that can’t be undone and will plague our country forever.

Like I’ve never been libertarian leaning at all. I don’t see any positives worth celebrating here. If in Nigeria, some Islamic terrorists go into a school and kill some kids and then the army kills the terrorists, white people don’t go, "Oh wow, look Nigerians defending themselves, that’s awesome let’s celebrate this!" Instead they go, "Oh that’s uncivilized." And on some level, they’re right, violence is uncivilized. But then white Americans look at people shooting people in their own country, and because they have this idiotic libertarian ideology that places personal liberty above collective social wellbeing people think there’s some reason to be happy about a very negative thing. Hypothetically, even if you do kill someone in self defense with a gun, that’s not evidence that you live in a good society. That’s evidence that you live in a crappy society where human life has a low value.

And the thing is, what I’m saying right now, would deeply offend some people in the United States, if you talk to virtually anyone from any country outside the United States, they’ll probably agree with what I’m saying. Outside the United States most people don’t view American gun culture as a good thing, they actually openly look down on us for it, even in Europe.

If I’m being honest, I don’t really like the left that much, I actively dislike the right, I just hate this libertarian filth that’s polluted both sides. The gun thing and the trans thing are the same thing when it comes down to it. People value personal freedom over logic and common sense. It’s a plague.

Like I swear to god, the number of times I’ve seen white people call black people stupid, but I’ve never seen a black person from Africa ever say, "Wow, in my village some guy was being annoying and then a guy shot the annoying guy in my village. Isn’t it so great we can shoot people in Africa? I bet Americans are jealous." Nobody anywhere else is that dumb.

Gun culture often is lame and it’s filled with edgelords and wannabes. I went to a gun safety and skills training class and a couple of guys seemed frothy about the idea of shooting someone. They didn’t have military or security professions. Both absolutely crumbled during the hand to hand portion. They were frightened pussies who hid behind their weapons, the types who “stand their ground” for being pushed.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against gun safety or gun training or anything like that. I think learning how to use a firearm is a valuable skill, and obviously guns are effective weapons. It is a tragedy of the commons type of thing though. If nobody has a gun (Japan), nobody needs a gun. If one guy has a gun (America), everybody needs a gun. And between those two extremes, I mean, Japan is a democracy. You don’t need guns to prevent tyranny, there are too many counter examples that disprove that notion. Idk, I’m just annoyed with it.

Also, can you imagine what a dumpster fire Tokyo would be if the yakuza had guns? I know there are cultural reasons why East Asian countries tend to have low crime, but if the few people who did commit crime in those high population dense urban areas had guns, and the police had to try and control that, I bet they’d fail at it.
