Basically: google’s self driving cars stopped in the middle of intersections everywhere at the same time when the power went out in San Francisco.

They're probably going to change the layout to suit these things kind of like how cities were built and parking ordinances set to keep normal drivers out and make it taxi and bus friendly... at some point probably.
