Ngl, when I get through a computer science lecture, then when I get out, I look at the news, and I think about all the technology we have, and who’s using it, I have some questions about how this whole society thing operates.

Joe Rogan made a joke one time that, "you’re not smart, we buy shit from smart people, I don’t know how to put a camera in a phone." You ever notice the people bragging about how advanced "our people" are, aren’t really the ones who even really know how a microwave works?

> That takes actual intelligence. Most people are abso-fucking-lutely really really retarded.
Crypto feels like a bagholder scam. It has value as long as there’s another buyer to hold the bag. Paper fiat currency is government backed and universally accepted. Crypto is an artificial digital currency created by a private entity, backed by nothing, and buoyed by the mysterious blockchain, which can be manipulated and spoofed. At least bearer bonds had cash behind them.

I also meant to add crypto isn’t regulated or insured. I have a “smart” and wealthy friend whose broker dropped him into Ethereum then pulled the holding as it plunged from his $150k to less than $30k.
