The history of South Africa:
Step 1: blacks and whites have no guns
Step 2: China invents guns
Step 3: Europeans receive the gunpowder technology through Eurasian trade routes
Step 4: white people with guns colonize Africans who don’t have guns
Step 5: white people oppress black people
Step 6: the white minority in South Africa builds nuclear weapons to prevent an uprising from the black majority once they get guns
Step 7: the black people start advocating for democracy
Step 8: the white people see the writing on the wall and decide to dismantle their nuclear weapons because it turns out you can’t save yourself by nuking yourself
Step 9: black people take over
Step 10: white guys on the internet wonder if black people without guns lost to white people with guns because black people are biologically inferior instead of asking how white people with nuclear weapons lost to black people without nuclear weapons

Fun fact about the Khoisan people, they’re actually one of the only African ethnic groups that have epicanthic eye folds like Asians.
