Jesus wasn’t killed by Jews, Jesus was a Jew, Jesus was killed by the Romans. What separates Christianity from Judaism is the New Testament. Israel was under the occupation of the Romans and the Romans didn’t tolerate Jewish religion because the Roman state religion was polytheistic while Judaism is monotheistic so they rejected the emperor’s role as a god and refused to serve in the Romans army. The Romans considered this to be a threat to national security so they oppressed the Jews. The Jews wanted a savior, that savior in the New Testament is Jesus, that’s what Christianity is.
