Who’s posting those communist songs under Erik’s posts? I wouldn’t piss down Erik’s throat if his heart was on fire, but he’s not some weirdo radicalized by Juche ideology. He’s much worse than that. The communist troll should stop.

Anyone still entranced by Communism is an abject tool and intellectual failure. Dozens of nations used it and all failed, economically, ethically, morally. It offered a template to seize power in failing states and engage in mass mayhem and murder. Some of the earliest genocide deniers were Noam Chomsky and friends who glossed over Soviet crimes and denied the Cambodian genocide.
We see a little of the same mindset in neo-Nazis who love the parades, songs, and aesthetic but at least don’t try to dress up their murderous inclinations with “peace, land, bread.”

I’m not a communist but that’s a very shallow understanding of what communism is. There’s a difference between socialism, communism, Marxist Leninism, and democratic centralism. But anti-communists tend to lump it all in together as "communism bad."

Not every communist party in history was authoritarian and strived to create a one party dictatorship. For example, there are communist parties in both France and Japan.

Saying communism is evil and capitalism is good can also create a false dichotomy. People tend to think that the United States for example is capitalist, when it’s actually a mixed economy with a balance between free enterprise and social welfare. It’s not really correct to say one is good and one is evil. In reality, it’s a trade off and extremes on both ends are bad. Different people have different opinions about the ideal balance, but not all left wing economic ideas are wrong or bad.
