Topic: I made a huge mistake in India! What do I do?

Anonymous A started this discussion 1 month ago #131,600

I am in a very rural village in India, the kind of place and people who have not changed in thousands of years, who still hold to the ancient traditions and customs. I was traveling through, and a local family insisted I stay with them. Their hospitality in that part of the world is legendary. So the wife cooked a huge, delicious meal, the family came, and we talked about India, about my home in the UK, and had a wonderful time. It's a cultural experience I will never forget.

Well, after dinner, the father suggested that one of his beautiful young lady daughters take me for a walk. I should have been suspicious then, but she was so beautiful. So, she is showing me around their farm then takes me into a storage shed. She says that it is the ancient tradition of their people that a father must give his most beautiful daughter to an honored guest. Give her to me? I asked. Yes. I am yours.

She started it. We made love several times in that shed, sex and ecstasy like I have never experienced. These people invented the Kama Sutra, and let's just say, they have no inhibitions sexually. She was a virgin, and I was her first.

Of course I was delighted. But afterwards, she explained to me that the attached custom is that now I am expected to marry her and live with her family in the village. She said that if I refuse, her father and brothers have the right to kill me.

Back at their house, I of course agreed to marry her to spare my own life. The family celebrated, and we are supposed to get married next week and I am expected to join their family and make money by teaching English to people in the local villages. Well, I have no desire to do this. So tonight, after everyone is asleep, I plan to sneak out and run. Just fucking run until I get to another village and safety.

What the hell have I got myself into? I am terrified! What do I do?

It's an ancient tradition in some Eastern nations. Look it up.

Is this ancient times? In Europe it was ancient tradition for a man to fall on his sword rather than surrender. Why are all the people who lost arguments to me still alive?

As I said in the post, this is an isolated, traditional rural village where not much has changed for thousands of years.

What does isolated mean in the context of India? An island?

If you stay for long enough, eventually a wandering trader should span. You can buy a potion of invisibility from a wandering trader. You can obtain emeralds by selling stolen wheat to villagers.

I never claimed to be sick. I am asking for advice about my Indian dilemma.

The solution is so simple. You run to the next village and meet up with a family and have great sex with the daughter and then run on to the next village until you run out of small villages and move on to the city.

Wait, that's...that's actually brilliant, but I'll get caught eventually.
