There are "religious" atheists and "non-religious" atheists. Some like to congregate around their ministers, some don't. Some have absolute faith and proof there is no God, and some simply see no reason to believe in God. Some ridicule others for not subscribing to their beliefs, and some don't.
But of course, there is no difference right? All atheists chose to be that way, which is why atheist parents have a shit fit when their children take up church.

You came to the wrong conclusion. There are atheists, some think they're better than everyone else and most of them don't. Both are 'real' atheists because they don't believe in God.

They're real atheists. What is wrong with someone being passionate about educating the ignorant? Religion is fucking ridiculous. People are literally brainwashed into respecting a bunch of beliefs, which on their own merit would be judged crazy.
If someone wants to say that evolution is false because there is a being that exists in some place beyond the mortal world who made everything, and you know because there's this ancient book of writings that says it is so, they should be prepared to be called crazy. There isn't a reason to believe it. "My daddy believed it and so did a bunch of other people," isn't an answer to "how do you know it's true?"
Theists are being ridiculous, and when they are told as much they are shocked and offended. Religion knows its fucking ridiculous. It's why blasphemy is such a terrible sin. Religion does not hold up to question.
Im tired of it. It ruins lives. It does. No act of good needs to be halted because religion ends. People are good. Atheists are good. They donate their time and other resources to charity. Religion is ridiculous. That is a truth no sane, rational person can argue against.
