How much is your health insurance premium rising since the Republicans hate you? Mine is doubling.

What are you talking about? President Obama solved the healthcare problem with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act back in 2010.

My blue cross, blue shield is still the same. Maybe you need a different plan? Mine is through my company and has been $438 a month for the last 3-4 years.

The ACA certainly allowed millions to access healthcare when they could not before. It helped, but it did not solve all problems. The problem is a for-profit healthcare system. We need socialized medicine, or poor people will continue to die.

"Through my company" is a big part of it. You can't leave that job without losing it. Also, $438 a month is insanely expensive for access to healthcare.

Back in the olden days, when you got an infection, they’d just saw off whatever body part got infected and pour some whiskey on it.

Of course I can't leave it, unless I shut it down. Which I'll not do for sometime.

Back in the day, they didn’t have an opioid crisis. You’re in pain, bite down on a bullet.

Doesn't seem expensive to me at all.

In the olden days, they didn’t play football with helmets. If you wanted to protect your brain, you grew your hair long. Same exact thing for the infantry.

It is expensive in the rest o the developed world. It's ridiculous. You could buy a decent car and even a basic house with that. Why do you actually want to pay that?

Back in the day, women didn’t need tampons. Real men know how to make bleed-proof underwear from horse hair. It’s not just good for women, it’s good for men too, because back in the day, vegetables hadn’t been invented yet.

Before all this woke PC nonsense, in the olden days when real men still worshipped the old gods, men used to get a man-moon. Absolutely true. It was part of the monthly ritual when men would use leaches to suck out any thick blood trapped in their penis. This prevents erectile dysfunction. Men used to be able to get a hard on up until the ripe old age of 35, which 10% of men lived to thanks to the advances of modern Victorian medicine!

Probably because I can afford it and it's great coverage. Where in the hell do you live that you can buy a basic house for $438 a month?

Back in the old day, sex was forbidden, so men and women reproduced through budding on the guillotine.

So you would rather pay $438 a month than receive free healthcare? You actually WANT to give away money?

I don't give it away, I pay for their service. You expect doctors and nurses to work for no pay? You expect their offices and hospitals to operate with no income? How do you fathom that you deserve a service from them for free??

Under socialized healthcare, healthcare professionals are paid very well. I am asking why you would prefer to pay $438 a month instead of much less for unlimited healthcare? With yours now, you still have deductibles and they don't cover everything. Why would you want that?

You do understand you have to pay for socialized healthcare with taxes right? It's not free, that is unless you don't work. I pay enough in taxes as it is already. My deductibles aren't squat. 5$ for most all prescriptions. $20 for office visits, $100 for ER..that's not much.

It seems you just don't have a clue as to how much it takes to make your own way in the world today. I'll ask you again, where do you live that you can get a house for $438 a month? My truck payment is almost twice that. And that's not counting insurance.

You pay a little more in taxes, but much less than insurance. And what if you had to have a major surgery that cost hundreds of thousands? Your insurance is not gonna cover all of that. I'm just curious why you would rather pay more.

You're not answering my question about the house. Why?

I'm giving answers. My deductible for any hospital stay/surgery is $750.

You say "a little more" How much do you think they would stick me? Again you say a little, I think you are out of touch with what it takes to live. But I'll give you an idea. Last year I paid in over 22k in taxes. I don't pay state taxes where I live. But I sure as fuck don't want to get taxed more for healthcare.

Again you won't answer one question I've ask you.
