Topic: It took me a while to realize Neil Gaiman books are boring.

I love his writing style, characters, world building, and dialogue. But very little happens in any of his books. There’s no payoff. Yet I still love Sandman and American Gods.

His comic books are better than his novels

I love sandman too but I feel Gaiman inserted himself into the main character and even though morpheus comes across as a massive dick sometimes I don't think Gaiman realises that.

True. Probably helped to have tutelage from Alan Moore.

Just looked up Gaiman and hadn’t realized he’s been canceled for alleged sexual assault. Fans and acolytes 1) accompanied him to his island retreat and 2) claim human trafficking.

Imagine raising a daughter who isn’t completely retarded: “A world famous millionaire author who is 40 years older than me is inviting me to his home. I wonder what he could want in exchange?”

My take on most higher profile cases like this as well. I'm not saying there aren't pickup artists or skeevey situations ever, but, c'mon ladies. I remember the 80's and 90's when putting out was part of the game.

The Cosby and Weinstein types are clear predators. This, meh. I agree with you. Some women who do this stuff and whine about it sound like they missed the last 60 years of feminism and need a Victorian chaperone. Camille Paglia even said at one point that every woman with an accusation or complaint step up and speak “so we can be done with this.”
