It’s kinda weird how on the internet there are so many comment sections filled with pro Trump people but in real life I literally haven’t met a single person who likes Trump in the past two or three years.

They're everywhere, but they're definitely more common in certain parts of the country. In areas where they are less common, they're more likely to hide their beliefs until they feel comfortable around you. When I lived in a small town in the midwest, they were inescapable. If you weren't a Trump supporter, you were the odd one out and they let you know it. Here in Vegas, they're definitely around but they mostly keep to themselves. There are a couple of "Trump houses" (you know what I mean) in my neighborhood, whereas back in my old town it seemed like every other house was a "Trump house".
While these people do sadly exist in large quantities, I do agree with your implication that a lot of the online pro-Trump, pro-Russia, pro-fascism discourse is fueled by bots.

@previous (C)
It’s kinda funny that Trump supporter’s racial views don’t really line up with who actually likes them. For example, Trump supporters are anti-black so they hate African countries, especially poor ones like Nigeria, but they like that Japan is ethnically homogenous and perceived to be prosperous (partially because they’re old so they still think Japan has a great economy). Yet, ironically, despite everything Trump supporters say, there are a lot of Christians in Nigeria who are very deeply religious, and there are almost no Christians in Japan. So Trump had a much better approval rating in Nigeria than in Japan.
Which is also kind of funny because when Elon Musk enabled that feature on X where you could see where people were posting from, a lot of the pro Trump bots were actually from Nigerians trying to make money off of MAGA in the US.
