thread list. The list gives too many results that aren't already what they think you like, is his idea.

Since when did you become an incoherent mess?

@previous (B)
He's not incoherent, this is just how Sheila posts. He's always tended to post everything in a detached, shitpost-y way.

He's not a bad guy, he occasionally posts seriously, he never really does anything bad on here. Just leave him be.

I support it. When it ain't a crowd hating on cyclists, it's a crowd hating on pedestrians. Meanwhile you get cars doing all kinds of lethal accidents and "it's obviously a separate incident that doesn't reflect us"

The problem is though that to some extent, human discussion should include things you don't want to hear, but tech is replacing the discussion with only that which you do want to hear.

The cattle that hang out on 'the front page' deserve nothing less. They pay the salaries by clicking on the sketchy ads - keeping the lights on for the place.

Yep, not a proper boofpost, just the once-a-month seriousposting. It's an institution at this point regardless.

💯
It's the strangest thing, having a mob of politics-level hate types over inane minutia... if it were just a shit tweet you could just call it a bad take and move on, reddit is different.

Here I went to chatGPT for you

edit the following text for clarity: reddit boss says that users are not siloed off from each other enough, would like can the popular thread list. The list gives too many results that aren't already what they think you like, is his idea.
ChatGPT said:

Here’s a clearer, more polished version of your text:

The Reddit CEO says users aren’t siloed from each other enough and would like to change the popular-threads list. In his view, the list currently shows too many posts that don’t align with what the platform thinks an individual user will like.

--not quite what I said. "would like can" means "would like to can" which uses an idiom "to can" which means to get rid of. That is, the CEO wants to get rid of the popular threads page.
