What upsets me most is the tech overlords shovelling this out there and everyone lapping it up. At least with social media I was able to just avoid it, there's no refuge for avoiding slop though. The biggest scam in environmentalism is to put the onus on the nobodies. Of course, recycle and don’t be an asshole. But corporate and industrial users are the biggest consumers. Look at the power load needed for something as worthless as crypto or as questionable as some of these data centers.
