He's still the best tank buster against a solo tank, but I'd argue against 3 tank comps I'd rather have a storm or punisher.

Absurd damage to melt the health bars faster. 3 tank comps have the finishing power of a 75 year old man, so the fragility of characters like moon knight or storm doesn't matter and they can just output unreal amounts of damage. Wolverine, while still good, is weak to CC and...I don't wanna turn this into a "list wolv weaknesses" post, just appreciate that moon knight got used in pro play.

I mostly play Tank and at this point I’m relatively good at playing around a Wolverine. Playing close to your team really minimizes a lot of the pressure he can generate. If you don’t let him get within lunge range you’re generally fine. What I’m far more wary of is Bucky and Hela and maybe sometimes Punisher. Bucky in particular can really mess you up if he kidnaps you into his team; and compared to Wolv he can do so from a much farther distance.

Sort of. I think he and Iron Fist are both better tank busters for different purposes.
Against a solo tank, Wolv is better. Being able to kidnap the only guy holding his teams frontline together is huge and almost necessary. I’d argue Wolv is also better against the anchor tanks in particular like Strange, Mag, and Groot.
Against a duo tank, I think Fist is better. Wolv kidnaps are still super good against duo tanks, but it isn’t an instant team fight winner anymore, and I think Fists more mobile playstyle is better suited to handling two tanks. I’d also say that Iron Fist is better against the brawl/dive tanks like Thing, Hulk, and Thor since he can more effectively chase them down then Wolverine can, thanks to his kick and multi-jumps.
Really, it depends on the enemy team comp. I’d say in most cases, Wolverine is the better one just because his kidnap is so influential.

No iron fist does it better than him overall and in general Angela kidnaps way easier than him too. It doesn’t help that the Phoenix team up on release got him gutted cause most people cried about him. We then got one of his biggest counters invis as arguably the best support currently and in damn near every game sitting in s tier.

yeah? he still is, Iron fist just gets murdered a close range by thor, hulk can just...leave... like he can just jump away after CCing the iron fist, Emma is self explainitory, mag can self bubble then hit his one shot combo, Strange is just kind of bum outta luck, Groot can wall around them then slap the iron fist with his walls, the thing can just out brawl iron fist and has a good escape method if its dicey, cap can just... leave. Angela is the lowest health tank giving him the lowest squeeze for his percentage damage AND she can run away or drag him into the team. Wolv is just better and more safe to pick.

Ok there’s a few problems with this. firstly all the things about Thor, hulk, Emma, and Mag still apply to wolv. Groot to somewhat but groot just melts before a good fist. And then there the biggest one The thing cannot out brawl iron fist Thing is the most free kill ever on fist it’s not even funny And iron fists Mobility and lock on allow him to chase cap and angela while they run. Wolv isn’t better than iron fist but the reverse is also the same they have different things about their kits that gives them their place in the fight
