I might still go EV, our boss installed free EV charging and the parking spots are really good (EV parking is closer than the rest or the parking lot to my office). But just proves your point, EV has been heavily subsidized by the rest of us.

Seems like a bad idea to buy anything as large as a vehicle based on what your job offers, as employers dont seem to value long term employees these days.
