Musk joined as chairman a year after founding and pretends he is the founder. He gets to claim that status as part of a 2009 lawsuit settlement with the CEO, and an original founder, he pushed out.
Now he gets a trillion dollars for costing the company at least 1M lost sales AND for pissing off Trump enough to cause the early demise of the EV tax credit.
