NOT NOT Evil - AT&T Cell technology sucked up to and including 4GLTE because they refused to use Qualcomm technology. They discovered they could NOT do 5G without Qualcomm patents and CHIPS.
So it puts $$$$ in my wallet. I am kind of ashamed of helping AT&T get into their first Digital cell venture Back then it was called Pac Bell Mobile service because the Feds would not allow AT&T to directly own Digital Cell.
Bad technology from the get go. Leaves of Trees would fuck up a cell signal. I was hurting for a way to get out of being a Robot Consultant because I frankly SUCKED at the Mechanics. I went from Satellites to Robots and one year of just AWFUL but the owners considered me terrific and they had no clue how bad I was. Made one Robot break a pane of Glass and the bit by bit the glass panel was re-assembled just for a conference Demo.
AT&T now $$$$$ for me and considering that as a Teen I ripped them OFF for free Toll calls all over the planet for an Eco Chamber.
> those fuckers are responsible for a pro-fascist cable news network in the US
ERROR ERROR Will Robinson. AT&T did own CNN and Ninety percent of OAN’s revenue came from a contract with AT&T-owned television platforms, including satellite broadcaster DirecTV, according to 2020 sworn testimony by an OAN accountant.
Herring has testified he was offered $250 million for OAN in 2019. Without the DirecTV deal, the accountant said under oath, the network’s value “would be zero.”
That said near the end up AT&T dropping out of owning DirectTV They DROPPED OAN as a channel and ended any more funding of OAN. Now a totally PUBLIC Company such funding would hurt the stock.

Going to add - Back as an Engineer for Hughes Aircraft I would daily walk on buy as they were building the First Direct TV Satellite- I was not at all evolved in that Satellite anything at the time and was working on what is NOW the most OUTSTANDING Way to Spy from Space cause one can see thru Clods and even into Buildings from Space and even UNDERGROUND Looks from space. I did win a contest for the first launch of that direct TV Satellite as they had a contest for solving a Launch issue at the last minute and my design WON - Met the man who invented the basis and patent for keeping Satellites in Space. Weird how he found a way to get Hughes into the Satellite Biz and then later committed suicide.
With NO Satellites to play with my design group used a DC-3 and some early Jets to test our Radar Imaging Technology and then later I was in the Satellite Biz - Miss that Technology like crazy but did make a Cell Phone demo of how to take Photos not with the Camera in the phone but turn Cell 4GLTE into a Imaging Radar device to look thru the walls at Qualcomm as they had no clue that CDMA is the basis for Space Spying and still is. 5G is NOT CDMA however it does include CDMA patents for the unique Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing, or “OFDM”)

Look up OAN’s S-1. It’s a tenuous business with a shitty model. What other media company owns dubious nutritional supplements? It’s a propaganda network that further scams its viewers with sugar pills. It only has a few hundred thousand viewers after the AT&T fallout. OAN also paid out a couple hundred million dollars for false claims about the 2020 election.
