I have two Cable accounts. One with Spectrum for the Cardiff by the Sea house currently in re-construction. Keeping it alive for construction crew to have in background as they work.Currently inland in one of two houses that share a Cox account for $300 + depending on what movies GF rents or buys.
Cox has my credit card on file and each month I pay by phone and they ask if I want to pay with the last 4 digits of a Visa card they have on file for me and I say YES. I pay and get email with a Thank you.
This month I was sure I paid BUT no thank you mail so called and they said I am current with balance paid on Nov 12.
I look at my Visa Bill and it does NOT show up - Nor last month buttttt back in October and months prior Visa shows the payment and deducts from by account so I pay.
Two months in a ROW No deduction. I call Visa and they say IMPOSSIBLE - Cannot Happen. Called Cox to verify they used my credit card number and in an instant were PAID.
Could be an error on Cox's end? Credit card company?
So do I spend the $600 + on some silly something or sit back and wait for the Hammer to drop?
