It was sarcasm. The most racist people are obviously going to have a pro-white racial bias when it comes to everything. In Germany, the Nazis were defeated in the 1940s, in America, segregation was outlawed in the 1960s, apartheid ended in the 1990s. There ain’t no way I’d trust a white South African, especially a rich white South Africa to have an unbiased objective perspective on "western culture."

If you asked Elon what he thinks are "facts" if he could get away with it he’d probably make Grok say blacks are monkeys with 20 IQs and white people are intergalactic Nazi gods or something stupid. But he’s smart enough to inch closer to it step by step. First it’s, "let’s stop being woke, let’s stop blaming white people for everything" then it’s "maybe blacks just aren’t qualified to have high paying jobs, maybe they shouldn’t have a high status in society" then it’s "maybe races have certain biological differences" then it’s "well we don’t hate blacks but you can’t deny they’re inferior" then it will quickly devolve into "blacks are the worst people and they need to be eliminated."

…actually it wasn’t just racial slurs, I googled it, some of the accusations were that black employees at Tesla got death threats.
