It seemed a bit slow TBH. I guess they have a lot of character development to work on for this season. Right when I thought it was too slow, though... wow! I did not see that last scene coming at all.

I only saw a few episodes of the first season and it was phenomenal. My housemate read the graphic novels and said it's amazing. I'd like to watch the rest. It's a very good show. I'll wait till it's ended and I can watch it all back to back online or DVD.

The comics are pretty intense. The first season was loosely based on them, but the second and beyond are said to closely follow them. I would recommend at least catching up with the first season. It's only 6 episodes I think. So worth it at least until Breaking Bad comes back in like 2 years.

from what i've read of the comics and seen of the show, it's pretty close to the source even in the first season, they just added some extra drama so they could rope in people who don't like zombies.

I'll finish the whole series. I just hate waiting and don't have cable, so I'll wait until it's all available. I'm very impatient when I start a series, so it's better to wait up front I say.

I know exactly what you mean, man. I waited until 2 weeks ago to watch Breaking Bad. I have watched all 4 seasons in the last 14 days. Now I have to wait (impatiently) for season 5, and I'll have to wait until it's over to watch it. Gonna be watching a lot of movies in the meantime.

I like the character development, though. It's nice to know someone's back-story so you can decide if you want them to live or die when a walker is closing in on them.

Breaking Bad is the first show to capture me the way The Sopranos did. It's not only better than television, it's better than 99% of the movies I see.
