I argue that life sucks and bronies can't handle it; 100% escapism. We had a lot of cartoons on in the house (doing the family thing) and I see the appeal. The bad guys can be thwarted (or stalled) and everyone sings kumbaya.

Escapism does make sense but it’s important to resist the urge.
