They’re a populist Marxist leaning black nationalist South African political party led by a charismatic leader who’s favorite pastime is singing about killing Boers (white farmers) in a stadium.

lol, if you think he's charismatic you're an idiot.
> Is this based that this nationalist party wants to take their country back and have Africa for the Africans?
the afro-communists "took their country back" in 1994.

@previous (B)
I don’t actually support him, I just think it’s funny that white people wanna act like they’re the only ones who are the majority in their own country and can have a populist party against minorities and some guy in an African country is jumping up and down singing about killing the white minority.

Anyway, I think the liberal democracy that the blacks created beats the authoritarian state the whites created. Maybe whites complain that the economy is worse, but if you look at the GDP data, it’s actually much better now than it was during apartheid, it’s just that if white people have to actually earn money using their own talents instead of slave labor, they end up not being as wealthy.

You must be joking. The ANC is one of the most corrupt organisations on the planet! At this point it is nothing less than a kleptocracy. There are far more desperately poor & unemployed black South Africans now than there ever were during apartheid.

When I googled it this was the AI response:
In 1994, South Africa's official unemployment rate was approximately 20%, with the rate for the black African population being around 26% to 43% depending on the definition used. The expanded definition, which includes those not actively seeking work, showed a much higher rate. These figures, particularly for black South Africans, were a direct result of the apartheid era.
South Africa has a high unemployment rate, which reached 33.2% in the second quarter of 2025, with youth unemployment particularly severe at over 55% for those aged 15-34. Key contributing factors include a mismatch between skills and available jobs, deindustrialization, and the persistent spatial legacy of apartheid which creates structural exclusion.
If 43% of black people were unemployed during the end of apartheid and 33% of people are unemployed now, I’d say the two interpretations of the data are either South Africa always had a high unemployment rate or the unemployment rate improved slightly. Obviously, the apartheid government was lying about their official employment rate (which makes sense, they were authoritarian) if they reported the official unemployment rate as 20% and unemployment rate for blacks as 43% since South Africa is 80% black.
