Topic: China vs Japan

China is just Japan if Japan was woke.

If you disagree with this: ask a Chinese person living in China if communism is good or bad in a public place.

If only Japan didn’t attack Pearl Harbor they wouldn’t have to be America’s sidekick.

Chinese people criticize the government all the time. The only thing they can't really do is to organize about it.

Ah yes, "democratic centralism" how could I forget?

Meanwhile in Europe, Ireland just democratically elected a female president who identifies as a socialist, and they have the correct amount of American military bases, which is zero.

They took the best parts of Chinese politics and the best parts of Japanese politics. Imagine having democracy and socialism at the same time, that’s crazy.

…not that the Irish president has any real political power, but you know.

One time in some comment section I saw somebody joking about how when Egypt completes their high speed rail project Africa will have faster trains than the United States.

"…the United States Department of Transportation defines high-speed rail as trains with a top speed of 110 mph (177 km/h) and above. Inter-city rail with top speeds between 90 and 110 mph (140 and 180 km/h) is referred to in the United States as higher-speed rail…"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-speed_rail_in_the_United_States

"Built for the future, engineered for extremes – the Velaro for Egypt improves mobility for all travelers. Even at temperatures of 50 °C, it keeps its interior cool, allowing passengers to always travel comfortably. Its onboard restaurant, power outlets at every seat and two luggage stacks per car add to this. With speeds of up to 230 km/h, it connects people across the country and offers them a fast, reliable and sustainable way to travel."

Turns out there’s some truth to it.

Ironically the railroads in America were built by Chinese people.

Tbh I think that would have gone better if they used Chinese people from China and Africans from Africa. Like get somebody who actually knows how to make proper jollof rice instead of rice that looks whiter than an SS officer.
